| Although violin performance and education has been Sergei life long pursuit, his passion has always been in the creative process of composing such works as the music score for Hungry the Musical. Born and raised in St. Petersburg Russia, he immigrated to the United States at the age of 12. Since then, Sergei has been an active participant in the Philadelphia Arts Community. He served as the concertmaster of the renowned Philadelphia Youth Orchestra for three seasons, and earned a BA in violin performance from Temple University. Sergei is working on completing a song cycle on Joseph Brodsky’s poems, and publishing educational music materials in the very near future under Note Sense Publishing, which Sergei founded. He is truly excited for the opportunity to work with such talented crew and cast, this is surely not the last collaboration with his close friend Sean Glass and the rest of the Hungry gang! |
